Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on two recent burglaries.
According to a press release, on or about Tuesday, Oct. 13, two or three unknown individuals forcibly entered a business in the 1800 block of North Main Street. Numerous items of merchandise were stolen in the burglary.

One burglary occurred Wednesday, Oct. 13 at about 10:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Main Street, where two or three unknown individuals entered a business and stole numerous items of merchandise. The second burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 at a business in the 1700 block of West Havens, where a vehicle and several battery packs were stolen. Also earlier this week, between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, an unknown individual or individuals entered a business located in the 1700 block of West Havens. A vehicle and several battery packs were stolen from the business. The vehicle was later recovered in the 400 block of West 4th.
It is unknown at this time whether the two burglaries are connected.
Those with information about this incident or suspicious activity in the area are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 605-996-1700. Callers do not have to identify themselves, and a cash reward is available for information that leads to the arrest of the subject or subjects involved.
