SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County is reporting 19 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since Friday: 0 from Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, 5 in El Dorado Hills, 1 in Diamond Springs/El Dorado, 1 in North County, 4 in Greater Placerville, 2 in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, 1 in South County, 3 in Lake Tahoe region. Awaiting address confirmation from today's count: 2. Total now awaiting address confirmation: 104.

Of those new cases, 2 are under the age of 18, 10 are age 18-49, 5 are aged 50-64, and 2 aged 65 or older. Awaiting age confirmation from today's county: 0. Total birthdate unknown to date: 12.

There have been another 39 assumed recoveries with 322 assumed active cases.

There have been an additional 1081 negative results received.

There are currently 2 COVID-19 patients hospitalized with 0 of them in the ICU. As of today, all of the patients hospitalized with COVID-19 are at Barton; 0 hospitalized due to COVID-19 at Marshall with 0 of them in the ICU. There are 0 suspected COVID-positive patient in the ICU at Barton. Also according to the State website, Barton has 3 available ICU beds, Marshall also 3.

There has been no additional death, the total for El Dorado County residents dying from COVID-19 is 105.

With respect to the tier assignment measures:

Adjusted case rate: 5.0
Positivity rate: 2.7%
Health equity quartile positivity rate: 2.7%

The county moved to the Red Tier, effective 3/3/21. To move down to the Orange/Moderate Tier, the above numbers need to fall into the ranges below:

There were 11 new cases and 60 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brought the total number of cases to 11,473, with 9,805 recoveries and 209 deaths; 1,459 cases remained active.

Today we are reporting reporting 12 new cases and 56 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.

There have been 91 new cases of confirmed COVID-19 in Placer County since Friday.

Lake Tahoe area cases - 154 (+1) are in Tahoe City 507.7 cases/100,000, 348 (+2) in Kings Beach 872.6 cases/100,000, 57 (+1) in Olympic Valley 429.9 cases/100,000, 82 (+0) in Truckee 44.1 cases/100,000, 50 (+0) in Carnelian Bay 301.4 cases/100,000.

Their seven-day test rate is 3.4 percent positive, and average daily case rate for last 7 days is 8.1 per 100,000. Seven-day increase is 0.8 percent, 14-day increase is 2.3 percent.
