Four men have been arrested as suspects in a violent Denver crime spree which included the shooting death of a man Tuesday night.
Isaiah Freeman and Aden Sides, both 18, Noah Loepp-Hall, 19, and Seth Larhode, 21, are in custody on investigation of multiple crimes including murder, burglary, aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft, menacing and assault.
Another suspect in the case remains at large, police said.
“We continue to send our condolences to those who were impacted by these terrible crimes,” said Chief Paul Pazen, in the release. “The suspects were taken into custody after Denver Police investigators, members of our Crime Lab, the Denver District Attorney’s Office, and local and federal partners worked tirelessly during the past 36 hours to identify and arrest these suspects. Violence will not be tolerated in Denver.”
Denver police announced the fatal shooting, at Stuart Street near West Colfax Avenue, just after midnight on Wednesday. Police held a news conference Wednesday imploring the public to help in the investigation by submitting tips.
The shooting happened near the Yeshiva Toras Chaim, a Torah school which instructs young men.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Shmuel Silverberg. He was shot multiple times, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

“We are caring for our faculty, staff, students, and their families in the face of this tragic and incomprehensible act of violence,” said a statement release Wednesday. “We are grateful for the support we are receiving from our Denver community and from around the country, and for the work of local law enforcement authorities who have made this their top priority.”
At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle was broken into in the 2700 block of West Alameda Avenue in the parking lot of a business. A witness intervened in the break-in and a gun was pointed at the witness, said Cmdr. Matt Clark at the Wednesday news conference. The suspects fled the scene.
The carjacking happened at about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday near East Colfax Avenue and Grape Street, police said. The suspects arrived in a stolen Toyota Camry and used a handgun to steal the 2018 Honda. There were no injuries.
The robbery and shooting happened at about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday on Lafayette Street near Colfax Avenue, Clark said. The suspects, wearing masks, confronted the victim, at one point forcing him to the ground and then shooting him before fleeing. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was in critical condition.
The fatal shooting happened at about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Stuart Street, Clark said. The victim was walking outside the Yeshiva when he was shot. Multiple shots were fired. and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
