REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2021-09010152, 1200 block of S. Fern Street. At approximately 3:23 p.m. on September 1, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that a store employee observed the male suspect enter the business and conceal merchandise in his bag before attempting to leave without paying. The employee confronted the suspect outside the business and attempted to prevent him from leaving the area. The suspect implied he had a firearm and threatened to shoot the employee then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male with a thin build, approximately 6’1”, with thin dreadlocks, wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, and carrying a black drawstring bag. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-09010117, 2100 block of N. Westmoreland Street. At approximately 12:08 p.m. on September 1, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside his residence when he heard a noise coming from the back door. The victim went to investigate and observed the unknown male suspect standing in the doorway. Upon encountering the victim, the suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’5”, 140 lbs., wearing a blue and white polo shirt and brown khaki pants. The investigation is ongoing.
