REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2021-09220212, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 9:42 p.m. on September 22, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the two suspects in the area of Wilson Boulevard and N. Quinn Street. The investigation revealed that at approximately 9:28 p.m., the two suspects entered a business and allegedly began concealing merchandise in their bags. An employee observed them, asked them to leave the store and advised he was calling police. The suspects began leaving the business when they verbally threatened the employee and one suspect implied he had a weapon. During a search incident to arrest, the suspects were found to be in possession of stolen merchandise from the business. Fredrick Walker, 40, of Oxon Hill. Md., was arrested and charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. Kenneth Johnson, 30, of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.

LARCENY (Significant), 2021-09220187, 2000 block of N. Adams Street. At approximately 6:36 p.m. on September 22, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress where the suspects were allegedly cutting the locks off bicycles and loading them into a pickup truck. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, two bicycles were recovered from the bed of the pickup truck. Items consistent with drug paraphernalia were observed in plain view inside the vehicle and a search incident to arrest resulted in the recovery of additional drug paraphernalia. Rayshon Mullen, 42, of Capital Heights, Md., was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I/II (x2) and Possession of Controlled Paraphernalia. The investigation into the larceny and the identification of possible victims is ongoing. 

BRANDISHING, 2021-09230158, 1100 block of N. Barton Street. At approximately 5:32 p.m. on September 23, police were dispatched to the report of a person with a gun. The investigation revealed that the juvenile victim and the juvenile subject had been involved in an on-going dispute when the subject allegedly brandished a BB gun from his bag and made threats to the victim. The subject was located in the area and released to his guardian. The investigation is ongoing.
