There's a police presence near the senior center in Wallingford on Sunday.
Officers in the area said they are there for an active crime scene.
The scene appears to be behind the senior center where the Quinnipiac River and the walking trail are.
Authorities did not release specifics about the incident.
Police said they expect to be there for a few more hours.
