Burglaries, thefts and other crimes have continued in El Paso amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are some unsolved crimes highlighted by Crime Stoppers of El Paso in recent weeks even while the Borderland was under stay-at-home restrictions intended to slow the spread of the new coronavirus.
Crime Stoppers spokesman police Sgt. Javier Sambrano said the cases remain under investigation.

On the night of April 24, two burglars wearing hooded jackets broke into the Danke Smoke Shop at 4954 Hondo Pass Drive in Northeast El Paso, Crime Stoppers said.
One of the burglars smashed the front glass door with a rock and both entered to steal several items from the shop in the Hondo Village retail center, police said.
A security camera from a nearby business recorded the thieves headed south on Diana Drive toward Maxwell Avenue, police said.
West Side car burglaries
Security cameras recorded a man suspected in a pair of car burglaries in the early morning of April 22.
About 2 a.m., the man broke into a car parked in the 700 block of Villa Antigua Court in the Upper Valley and then about 3:30 a.m. broke into a second vehicle in the 900 block of East University Avenue in the Rim Road area, police said.
The burglar was between 20-30 years old, about 6 feet talk with a thin build and got into a white four-door car, police said.
Burglary trio
About 2 a.m. April 4, three burglars stole cigarettes and cigarillos after breaking a glass door to enter the Family Dollar store at 615 N. Zaragoza Road, Crime Stoppers said.
The store is in the Zaragoza Village shopping center on Zaragoza Road and North Loop Drive in the Lower Valley.
One of the burglars wore a white plastic mask with a red line across the lips, another had a bandanna mask and beanie and the third had on a baseball cap and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Police said that the one of the burglars had broken into the same store a day earlier.
Crime Stoppers said that investigators suspect that the Family Dollar burglar in the baseball cap is one of three young men suspected in a “beer run” theft on March 28 at a Circle K store, 5040 E. Paisano Drive, west of Fox Plaza in South-Central El Paso.
Store security camera filmed a young man in a baseball cap, a young man carrying a case of Budweiser and a young man with a bushy head of blond hair carrying what appear to be three tall boy beer cans.
Women beer thieves
“These girls were busy last Friday night,” Crime Stoppers stated on Facebook regarding two young women suspected in a pair of “beer runs” on March 20 in East El Paso.
The women are accused of first stealing beer from the 7-Eleven, 2955 George Dieter Drive, and a couple of hours later, stealing beer from the Speedway store at 1797 George Dieter Drive, Crime Stoppers said.

Vapolocity burglary
In the early hours of March 19, three men burglarized the Vapolocity 2.0 vape shop at 7230 Gateway East Blvd, west of the Ranchland Village shopping strip.
The burglars broke a window and got in through a wrought iron guard that was missing a bar, Crime Stoppers said. The burglars “went directly to the cash registers” and stole money from the registers.
All three men had on gray, black and white face coverings, caps or hoods and one of the men was wearing colorful red, black and white pants.
“Police believe the subjects may live in the surrounding area,” Crime Stoppers added.
