Indianapolis police are investigating after a shooting left a man dead Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex on the northwest side.
The shooting happened shortly before 4:45 p.m. in the 5200 block of Pinebrook Drive. IMPD officers called to the area on a report of a person shot located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at the scene.
The man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.
Additional details about the shooting had not been released Sunday afternoon. Police had not released the name of the victim.
