REPORTS
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-06280242, N. Cameron Street at 22nd Street N. At approximately 11:04 p.m. on June 28, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when she heard the male suspect behind her and turned around to see him with his genitals exposed and attempting to engage with her. Officers canvassed the area and located a suspect matching the description provided by the victim and took him into custody without incident. Tahmeen Street, 25, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure and Public Masturbation.
SEXUAL BATTERY, 2021-06280155, 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 3:19 p.m. on June 28, police were dispatched to the report of a sexual battery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:45 p.m., the juvenile victim was walking in the area when the unknown male suspect walked past her and touched her buttocks. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with a black short sleeve shirt overtop, long black pants and carrying a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2021-06280205, 1100 block of S. Edison Street. At approximately 7:35 p.m., police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the victims’ residence through an unlocked window and caused damage to an additional window. The investigation revealed that the suspect(s) stole the victims’ personal items, electronics and credit card. During the investigation, the male victim was notified of fraudulent activity on his stolen credit card. The suspect is described as a tall light-skinned male with a medium build, wearing a black and gray long-sleeve shirt, gray shorts and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
