An 18-year-old man is facing a statutory sex assault charge in a case involving a juvenile in Hellertown.
Latif Elijah Coll of Tampa, Florida is accused of sexually assaulting the female on July 20 in the borough. Police did not state the age of the victim or the relationship between the pair.
Coll also is charged with felony corruption of minors. He was arraigned Aug. 20 before District Judge Nicholas E. Englesson, who set bail at 10% of $10,000. In lieu of bail, Coll was sent to Northampton County Prison, where he remained Sunday.
