Crime Stopper of Wichita Falls is offering a reward up to $10,000 for assistance with solving a cold case homicide, according to a media release.

Police are trying to find out who killed Tommy Lee Harrison over 30 years ago.

The crime happened Aug. 27, 1988 in the 400 block of Bonner Street, according to the media release. Officers were dispatched to a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, they found 31-year-old Harrison mortally wounded.

He was shot after leaving a bar in the 400 block of Flood Street, according to a June 22, 2014, article in the Times Record News.

Harrison made his way to Bonner Street before collapsing, according to the story. A case against a suspect was unsuccessful in the criminal justice system.

Harrison's case was featured in a deck of cards created to draw fresh leads about cold case investigations in Wichita Falls and Wichita County, according to a July 11, 2007, TRN story. Wichita County Jail inmates had access to the cards.

At this point, police have very little information on this slaying and could use your help.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $10,000 if a tip leads to an arrest and the board approves the reward.

If you have any information on this felony crime or any other, call Crime Stoppers at 940-322-9888 24 hours a day.

The number for long distance callers is (800) 322-9888.

You never have to give your name when giving a tip, according to wfcrime.com.

You can also submit a tip on the Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls' website.

In addition, residents can download the P3 Intel app to their Apple and Android phones to provide tips to the authorities on fugitives and crimes.
