Looking ahead to the 2021 FSU football season, it’s really hard to know what to expect. The Noles have a lot of turnover from last year’s roster.

The coaching staff raided the transfer portal in hopes of gaining experienced players who were physically ready for the college game.

The Noles lost four players in the NFL Draft and two more signed as undrafted free agents.

How much of the actual offense and defense did we see with the team not having a full spring to practice last season? How much different will they look in 2021 with a real offseason?

How much has Jordan Travis improved? How much better will the offense look with McKenzie Milton under center? How much will the defense improve?

The schedule is also a beast. FSU football opens up the season hosting Notre Dame, who made the College Football Playoffs last season. They host Miami and NC State who posted eight wins last season.

FSU has to play road games against Clemson, Florida, North Carolina, Wake Forest, and Boston College.

Most models project the Noles to win five or six games in 2021. So what are the best and worst-case scenarios for 2021? Let’s start with the worst.
