REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2021-09210068, 900 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 9:13 a.m. on September 21, police were dispatched to Virginia Hospital Center for the late report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, the victim was being treated for serious but non-life threatening injures. The investigation revealed that at approximately 1:15 a.m., the victim was walking in the area when he was pushed from behind by the unknown suspect and fell to the ground. The suspect then brandished a knife and demanded money from the victim before stabbing him and stealing his wallet. The suspect fled the scene on foot and the victim returned to his residence before determining he was in need of medical services. The suspect is described as a Black male with a fit build and short curly black hair, wearing blue jeans and a light gray hoodie with the hood up. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY (late), 2021-09210008, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 12:26 a.m. on September 21, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that approximately 20 to 30 minutes prior, the victim was in the area when he was approached by the known male suspect. The suspect demanded the victim’s property, and when he refused, stole alcohol from the victim. The suspect then struck the victim multiple times before he fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect is described as a Black Hispanic male, approximately 19 to 20 years old, 6’2” tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black cutoff t-shirt at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
