Crime Stoppers of Morgan, Scott and Cass Counties is requesting information to assist Jacksonville police in the investigation of a burglary.

Between 6 p.m. Nov. 8 and 8 a.m. Nov. 9, someone entered a residence in the 400 block of South Clay Avenue and removed tools.

Among the tools taken were a jig saw, a circular saw, an 18-volt Sawzall, a brad nailer, a framing nailer, a battery-charging dock and two 8-amp, 6-amp and 12-amp batteries. All were Milwaukee brand.

Police are asking that anyone who has information concerning this incident or any other crimes within the three-county area submit a tip online by going to morganscottcrimestoppers.webs.com and clicking the "leave a tip" button or calling 217-243-7300. Tips may also be submitted by texting 274637 (CRIMES) with the first word of the text being "payout."
