Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls is offering a reward up to $1,000 for help solving a shooting May 28 at Maurine Street Apartments, according to a Crime Stoppers media release.
A woman was standing in the parking lot holding a baby about 8 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ridgeway Drive when she was shot in the leg.
The possible suspect in the aggravated assault is described as a short, thin, Hispanic female, according to Crime Stoppers. She had long hair that was in a bun on top of her head.
She fled the scene of the shooting in a black, GMC Sport Utility Vehicle.
The injuries were not life-threatening for the woman who was shot and transported to United Regional Health Care System for treatment, police said.
Police have very little information about the case and could use the public's help.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward if a tip leads to an arrest and the board approves the reward.
