The Arkansas Department of Health announced that COVID-19 cases in Arkansas increased by 49 on Monday.
The state announced three new deaths as a result of the virus, bringing the total number of deaths in the state as a result of the pandemic to 5,820.
Hospitalizations were down one, bringing the total number of Arkansans hospitalized in the state to 195. There are 39 patients on ventilators, up six from yesterday.
There are currently 1,894 cases of COVID-19 considered active in the state, which includes those that have tested positive by both PCR and antigen testing methods. The ADH dashboard currently lists 104 active cases in Washington County, and 217 in Benton County.
There were 1,202 PCR tests conducted in the state, and 77 antigen tests.
The new cases bring the total cumulative count in Arkansas to 340,186 since the pandemic began.
The state announced that 2,371 additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, bringing the total number of doses given by the state to 1,932,022. The state lists 240,521 individuals as partially immunized, and 877,185 individuals as fully immunized.
All Arkansans 12 and older are currently eligible for a vaccine.
