11:57 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of larceny and malicious destruction of property in the 5600 block of Pine Meadow Drive.

11:23 p.m. — Officers responded to an intoxicated driver in the area of West Indian and Gordon streets.

9:50 p.m. — A deputy assisted a disabled 30-year-old Midland Township woman with getting to the ER for a mental health evaluation — she was having suicidal thoughts and wanted assistance.

9:17 p.m. — Deputies were dispatched to a Lee Township residence in reference to a 42-year-old woman reporting she was assaulted by her 39-year-old boyfriend. The man fled the scene prior to deputies arriving. A report is being sent to the Midland County Prosecuting Attorney's Office (PAO).

6:31 p.m. — A deputy was dispatched to a Jerome Township residence after a 39-year-old woman said she was going to shoot herself. The deputy made contact with the woman, and she was transported to the MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland emergency room for a mental health evaluation.

3:45 p.m. — Deputies responded to a vehicle crash in Mount Haley Township.

11:31 a.m. — An 18-year-old woman was bitten by a cat at a Warren Township location. She received treatment at the MidMichigan Medical Center Urgent Care.

10:49 a.m. — A deputy spoke with a 59-year-old Geneva Township woman who advised a lawn service company was mowing her lawn and the mower threw a rock at a vehicle parked in her driveway. The deputy advised the woman that an accident report was not needed for the damage to the windshield, and explained that she could contact her insurance company directly if needed.

10:36 a.m. — A 46-year-old woman wished to file a vehicle theft and harassment complaint against her ex-boyfriend. She later refused to provide information and claimed she no longer wished to file a report.

9:27 a.m. — A deputy spoke with a 24-year-old Edenville Township woman at the emergency room who said she slapped her 24-year-old husband in the face. The woman said her husband punched her back in the face, which caused an injury to her nose. Deputies attempted contact with the husband, but he was unable to be located. A report was completed and forwarded to the PAO for review.

2:24 a.m. — A 24-year-old woman reported she could hear people yelling and a loud truck coming from what she thought was her property. Contact was made with a 32-year-old man, who was "mud bogging" with a truck pulling an old boat. The driver was sober, and was advised to stop for the evening. He agreed and apologized for the inconvenience to his neighbor.

Saturday, May 1

11:15 p.m. — A 44-year-old intoxicated woman called 911 to report she could not find her husband. Deputies called the 47-year-old man, who was at a party down the road. The woman was given a ride home from the party a short time earlier, but did not remember. Deputies stood by until the man returned home to take care of his intoxicated wife.

8:47 p.m. — Deputies were dispatched to a Mills Township residence in reference to a 55-year-old man stating his house was broken into, and multiple things were stolen. Belongings that were stolen include a safe, three firearms, and his security system. The total value of the belongings missing are approximately $2,150. This is currently still under investigation — there are no suspects at this time.

7:52 p.m. — Deputies were dispatched to the City of Midland for a crash involving a firetruck and a fallen tree.

5:50 p.m. — Deputies were dispatched to a Jerome Township location in reference to a 57-year-old Weidman man reporting a vehicle was "all over the road" and almost struck a motorcycle. The deputy located the vehicle, and made contact with the 66-year-old male driver from Holly, who was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and lodged at the Midland County Jail.

2:50 p.m. — A deputy responded to a car-turkey crash in Edenville Township.

11:26 a.m. — Deputies were dispatched to a Larkin Township residence for a report of a 21-year-old man being assaulted by his 25-year-old brother. The suspect fled the scene prior to the deputies arrival, and was not able to be located. The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault.

5:48 a.m. — Deputies responded to a car-deer crash in Edenville Township.

4:33 a.m. — Deputies were dispatched to an Ingersoll Township residence for a domestic assault. Deputies made contact with a 24-year-old Ingersoll Township woman and a 26-year-old Ingersoll Township man. After further investigation, it was determined the man was to be arrested for domestic violence.
